Has 27 goals and 52 points in 35 games.  Grand
Rapids, MI native leading scorer for WHL’s top team.  
Has already topped last year’s goal total of 24.
LW – Chris Terry, 18 yrs. old, Plymouth
Whalers (OHL)
(Drafted Rd. 5 / Pick 132 in 2007)
Having a breakout season for the Whalers.  After scoring
22 goals and 66 points in 68 games last year, he has 24
goals and 59 points through 32 games this season.  
Plymouth was expected to fall off a bit after losing key
members of their OHL championship team from last
year, but with Terry as their leading scorer they are off to a
19-9-2-2 start.
RW - Jerome Samson, 20 yrs. old
Albany River Rats (AHL)
(Signed as free agent July 2007)
Fourth among AHL rookies in scoring with 15-12-27 in 42
games.  
C - Bobby Hughes, 20 yrs. old
Albany River Rats (AHL)
Hughes is having a rookie pro season to forget.  First, he
missed 11 if 17 games with a concussion.  The  he
returned to play in 15 of 16.  He was hurt January 5, and
has yet to return.  he leads the Rats in shooting
percentage, and for the season has posted 7-9-16 in 26
games.
D - Casey Borer, 22 yrs. old
Albany River Rats (AHL)
Will primarily be a shut-down type.  Was leading the Rats
with a +13 rating before being called up to the 'Canes for
his NHL debut.
